Over the past thirty years of his practice, Mr. Tramont has successfully represented individuals, companies and financial institutions, on both the plaintiff and defense side, securing verdicts in numerous multi-million dollar actions. Most recently, he obtained a $14.5 Million jury verdict in Mississippi on behalf of a client against a “Big Three” accounting firm. His work on behalf of the Firm's insurance company clients includes representation in connection with coverage disputes, surety bond claims, directors and officers liability issues, first-party claims and claims arising under errors and omissions and fidelity policies. Mr. Tramont has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in major property and casualty litigation arising from hurricane disasters, obtaining verdicts for those clients at the trial and appellate levels. He is a co-author of the National Business Institute's treatise, "An In-Depth Analysis of Insurance Coverage Options in Florida," published in 2005, and has lectured on insurance law at continuing legal education seminars.

In addition, Mr. Tramont represents public and private companies in employment discrimination cases, and has successfully defended wrongful termination actions in federal and state court involving claims of gender, disability and racial bias. A former law clerk for the Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York, Mr. Tramont has represented insurance companies and other financial institutions in large bankruptcy cases throughout the country. He is a co-author of "Fundamentals of Bankruptcy Law and Procedure," published by the National Business Institute in 1993 and 1997, and "Florida Foreclosure and Repossession," published in 2002.

Mr. Tramont is a member of the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, including the Trial Bar, the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and a number of United States Courts of Appeals. He currently serves on the Judicial Administration and Evaluation Committee of the Florida Bar, and formerly sat on the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee. He is a graduate of Hobart College (B.A., 1976) and University at Buffalo (J.D., 1979). He is active in the pro bono area, representing indigent litigants in conjunction with the Dade County Volunteer Lawyers and Federal Court Volunteer Lawyers Project for the Southern District of Florida.
