PAULINO A. NUÑEZ JR. is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami (J.D., 1989), where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Order of the Coif. Mr. Nuñez is a trial lawyer who specializes in commercial litigation, including insurance practices litigation, contract disputes, business torts, securities litigation, bankruptcy and professional liability claims. Mr. Nuñez is a creative and resourceful lawyer who uses those skills to effectively represent clients having complex legal problems. He has successfully defended clients in lawsuits where multiple millions of dollars have been at stake and has also been instrumental in securing several multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients. Prior to attending law school Mr. Nuñez worked in the insurance industry and was a Florida-licensed (2-20) property and casualty insurance agent. As a consequence, he has an understanding of the practical issues that affect insurance companies involved in litigation.

Mr. Nuñez was born in Miami, Florida, is fluent in Spanish, and is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and The Florida Bar (admitted 1989). Mr. Nuñez graduated from Florida International University (B.A., with honors, 1985).
